Okay...this is getting ridiculous. First it was heaps of Mexican food last night and today I arrived at my client's only to find out they had a BBQ scheduled today at 11:30. That's two days in a row of having delicious fatty food paraded in front of me. At the BBQ the grilled up some burgers and sausages and they smelled soooooo good. They also had five different containers of cookies and lots of chips and salsa. There was absolutely nothing there I could eat. I checked the nutrition label on the package of Chicken Apple Sausages and found that each link contained 13 grams of fat. I could have gotten away with it but that would be all I would be allowed to eat for lunch and I knew it wouldn't be enough. I had a Smart Ones microwave meal in the freezer back at the office that only contained 7 grams of fat and unlike the sausages, the microwave meal would fill me up.
You know, normally I would have probably given in to temptation especially when everyone at the BBQ kept asking why I wasn't eating. But now that I'm taking these Alli pills I am extremely motivated to stay away from fatty foods.
So instead of gorging of delicious burgers and sausages I chatted with coworkers and enjoyed a nice afternoon at the park. When I got back to the office I was pretty hungry. I made my micro-meal and tried to ignore the stares from coworkers wondering why the hell I'm eating when we just got back from a BBQ. I was so preoccupied I almost forgot to take my afternoon dose of Alli.
My client has a gym here and I was planning of working out on my lunch. The BBQ kind of threw a kink in my mix though and now I don't know if I'll have enough time... We will just have to see.
