Well, this weekend is coming to a close. I am had a lot of fun with my kids this weekend and had more energy that I am used to which is a very welcome change. I am happy that I got in two days of exercising, on yesterday it was the 2 mile walk with my kids and today it was the gym.
Tonight my mother, brother, kids, and my boyfriend (who is also the father of my kids) went to dinner at BJ's. My brother originally wanted to get pizza but after I explained that I was trying to watch what I eat, he suggested BJ's. At the restaurant I took out my phone and used the MyFitnessPal app to check the fat content of each dish (the calorie content is already included on the menu). I was surprised to find very little options. There were a few low calorie options but they were all loaded with fat. They had a couple low fat pasta dishes but those were 1400+ calories. I ended up ordering the Mediterranean Chicken Pita Tacos which were okay. They weren't great but they weren't bad either. The entire meal had around 700 calories and 20 grams of fat. I am limited to around 13-15 grams of fat per meal so I wasn't planning on eating the whole meal. It was actually more filling than I thought. After only one of the pita tacos I was full. All in all I ended the day with 1034 net calories (1388 - 354 from working out).
I am excited to weigh myself on Wednesday. It has been extremely hard to bit weigh myself every day. I have been doing really well and I would love some positive feedback. Of course, the scale could not move much which would be a bummer but I know that sometimes it takes time for it to kick in. I honestly can say I've been doing my best and no matter what the scale says I am very proud of myself. Tomorrow it will the two week anniversary. I only have one client scheduled tomorrow and it's in the afternoon so I have time to go to the gym beforehand. It's also my boyfriend's birthday tomorrow so it will be another evening of eating out. He pretty flexible about where we eat so I'm going to do some research online and find the best place with low fat dish options. I already have a place in mind... It's an Italian restaurant right down the street from my house. I usually get the filet mignon or a Caesar salad but they also have some great chicken dishes. We'll see.
Good night everyone. xoxo
