It's 5:20pm and I am about to leave my office to go pick up my girls. Tonight is Open House at my six year old's school. It starts at 6:30pm so we're going to have to hurry home, have dinner, and then head over to the school. I'm not sure yet what we are going to have for dinner but whatever it is need to be quick.
I am still pretty stoked about my awesome weight-in this morning. Between that and the great workout I had today I am feeling pretty pumped. For snacks today I had a ton of strawberries and carrots, 1.5 servings of pretzels, and one Snack Wells cookie. For lunch I had planned on stopping at Subway after the gym but brought a microwave meal just in case I didn't have time. When I left the gym I realized it was already 1:55pm and I had a conference call scheduled at 2:00pm. Thank goodness for the microwave meal. Due to the conference call I had a later lunch than usual (I ate around 3pm). If I hadn't brought snacks with me I would have been starving during my phone call. Today's microwave meal was one I hadn't tried before: Smart Ones Slow Roasted Turkey Breast.
It wasn't bad but I'm not sure if I'll buy this one again. The meal consists on only turkey, masked potatoes, and a lot of gravy. I would have been happier if it had some veggies with it.
Alright, I have to get going now...
