It's 7:30am on Monday morning. I woke up feeling very hungry again. I ate a bowl of Special K Fruit and Yogurt and took my morning dose of Alli.
I was reading other weight loss blogs yesterday and I found one that I really liked. The woman writing it had joined Weight Watchers. She started off writing pretty frequently but her posts slowed down after the first couple weeks, just like every other weight loss blog out there. What I liked about this one was, no matter what, she posted on her blog every Wednesday which was her weigh in day at her Weight Watchers meeting. Whenever she was tempted throughout the week she kept thinking about her next weigh-in. She wanted to see the scale go down each week, which most of the time it did. There were also times it didn't. She splurged one weekend by eating a bunch of fatty foods and then stressed about her next weigh-in. She tried to put in an extra exercise to make up for the added calories but in the end, the scale went up during her weekly weigh-in. She knew it would but the up side was that it only went up 2 lbs (she had thought it would be a lot worse).
I really liked the idea of weekly weigh-ins. It is can really help keep you motivated throughout the week. It also gives you something to look forward to. I have trying to decide how often I should weigh myself. I have been weighing myself each day but my weight fluctuates so much it's hard to gauge how I'm doing. I am going to start doing weekly weigh-ins with my weigh-in day being Wednesday. I chose Wednesday since it's in the middle of the week and gives me something to look forward to.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Will check back in later.
