Day 9 - Going to Bed

It's the end of day nine and I am very happy with how today went. I am also very pleased that my sugar cravings have subsided a bit. The only issue today was that I forgot to take my afternoon dose of Alli. By the time I remembered it was too late to take it. 

I have been using the pedometer on my iPhone and am in the process of buying an actual pedometer. The app that I have been using on my iPhone works okay except my phone lives in my purse for most go the day and doesn't track at least half of my steps. I liked the features of the Jawbone UP and UP24 except it gas absolutely awful reviews on Amazon. That leaves my next choice: the FitBit. They have several different designs and I'm not sure which one to get yet. 


I have an exciting new motivational plan. In AA and NA you receive chips when you reach certain milestones. I am going to do something similar with my diet but instead of getting chips I will get to pick a "prize". The milestones are the following:

1 Month on Diet
2 Months on Diet
3 Months on Diet

10 pounds lost
15 pounds lost
20 pounds lost

I don't want to plan too far ahead...If I make it through the first two months I will update the milestones.

I haven't worked out all of the kinks yet but I am excited to award myself for doing well on my diet with things other than food. Normally I reward myself with ice cream or pizza which completely defeats the purpose of the diet.

Anyway... It's 10:22pm and I am about to lay down and go to sleep. After another nonstop day I am really tired. Nite nite everyone.
