Key to Losing Weight

I have been eating healthy and exercising for about six weeks now but have only lost 4-5 pounds. Last year I lost 15-18 pounds during the first six weeks and today I was determined to find out why my weight loss is so much slower this go around, after all, I'm eating healthier and running or doing yoga about 5 times a week. Thankfully I have my blog to look back at which is exactly what I did. After reading a couple older posts it was obvious what the difference is... I was going to the GYM last year verses going running and doing yoga this year. My workouts at the gym are usually more intense and they last longer than my typical 30 minute run. I usually do 30 minutes of cardio at the gym but I also strength train for 30 minutes afterwards. Te strength training is probably what led to my more rapid weightloss last time. On top of that, I was going to the gym 5-7 times a week. This time I've been running 2-3 times a week and doing yoga 2-4 times a week. I rarely do both in the se day, it's usually one or the other. 

So after finding out the gym was the key guess what I just did for about 1.5 hours... That's right... I went to the gym. I typically don't have 1.5 hours a week to go to the gym so I'll have to go when I can. Otherwise I'll just keep doing yoga and my morning runs.
